Aims and objectives
Drawing on the resource based view which draws attention to how organisations might leverage their workforce to gain competitive advantage, the Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) focuses on HRM as the driver of innovation and high performance in the workplace.
The HRM major seeks to strike a balance between the need for practical skills and knowledge, and the need to instil in students the theoretical acumen, and conceptual thought and understanding necessary to work in the area of human resource management.
