University of Nottingham Dean's Excellence Scholarship

Tuition Fee Waiver
The Dean’s Excellence Scholarships (DES) amount to a fee reduction of 25%. They are awarded to top achieving students ─ up to the top 10% of the faculty's high achievers ─ at the point of progression for each academic year, ie from:

  • Foundation to Year 1
  • Year 1 to Year 2
  • Year 2 to Year 3
  • Year 3 to Year 4 (for Engineering course only)

This means that students who entered university without a High Achievers' Scholarship may be eligible for the DES when they perform outstandingly on the programme they have undertaken.
