The Diploma in Cosmetics programme at UoC is a 2 year and 6 months course designed for students to become professionally trained in knowledge and skills related to the formulation and usage of cosmetic. 

The programme’s objectives is to produce graduates who have comprehensive understanding on the principles of cosmetic preparation, formulation, evaluation and safety. The programme also aims to produce graduates who can become entrepreneurs in the cosmetics and beauty industry.

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM); or General Certificate of Education Ordinary (“O”) levels
  • Pass with 3 Credits in any subjects. Pass in English

AND
Higher School Certificate level or its equivalent:

Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) 
  • Minimum Grade C with CGPA 2.00 in one subject

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) 
  • Minimum Grade B in any 3 subjects

STAM 
  • Pass (Maqbul Level)

Certificate 
  • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM Level 3) in a related field and pass in SPM with credit in one subject.
  • Certificate (Level 3, MQF) pass certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00

Other Equavalent Qualification 
  • Any qualification recognized by Malaysian Government/University Senate


Exit Requirements:
  • All applicants shall have attained a minimum of BAND 3 in the MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY ENGLIST TEST (MUET) or TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS 6.0 with a minimum band of 5.5 for Writing, Reading, Listening/Speaking (WRLS).
  • Malaysian applicants shall have also attained a CREDIT IN BAHASA MALAYSIA AND ENGLISH at SPM or its equivalent
