Creative Multimedia encompasses the post-production, animation, web and interactive multimedia industries. The production processes and techniques of creative multimedia are heavily used in the entertainment industries, especially to develop special effects in movies such as motion graphics and visual effects. It is also evident in animation for cartoon characters, 3D games and films. Multimedia is also presented online in the form of interactive web pages, web design and online web games.

The course utilises the latest multimedia software applications that are most relevant and widely used in the creative or post-production industry. This ensures that our graduates are fully equipped with the necessary skills and able to seamlessly integrate into any company within their chosen area of expertise.

We ensure that we have the most capable equipment to effectively run the necessary software applications and provide students with the knowledge and practical usage of additional hardware peripherals most likely to be used within the industry worldwide.

The course is designed to produce graduates for the post-production, web and multimedia industry, who are also trained to work with flash applications and interface design elements.

Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with at least three (3) credits OR

Recognised Creative Multimedia Certificate or equivalent OR

Recognised related Technical and Vocational Certificate or equivalent with one (1) year relevant work experience or one (1) semester bridging programme. OR

Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least 1 credit. AND


English Proficiency Requirement for International student
  • IELTS 4.0 OR
  • TOEFL iBT 30-31 OR
  • PBT 397 OR
  • CAE 154 (Cambridge Advance English) OR
  • CPE 154 (Cambridge Proficiency English) OR
  • CFE 142-146 (Cambridge First English) OR
  • PTE 30 (Pearson Test of English Academic) OR
  • MUET Band 2
